Villa Johansen is a perfect work of architecture from Willa Nordic. They show us amazing best sample functional and practical modern house design combined with Asian serenity. Starting from the garden that features an amazing pond it took its inspiration from the Japanese and Chinese cultures. The black and white facade provides the character to the house. The interior also features very light colors with black and dark brown splashes. Although there are some elements of luxury as inside as outside of it. Marble floors, decorative stones and stunning staircase make that possible. The large glass windows throughout the house gives a lot of vision access to the surrounding scenery and provides enough sunlight and brightens up the whole rooms. (more…)
This modern house, designed by Greek architects Nikos Koukourakis, located inside the Dionysos, a suburb northeast of real estate in Attica, Greece. This house has a garden and beautiful swimming pool, with the main architectural concept was to design a modern house with straight lines and big openings to a flat garden. This enables the natural light to travel through every space of the house, reducing the amount of energy needed to illuminate the house. Large glass surfaces allow an open dialogue with the outside world continuously, without creating a sense of isolation within the home.
