Casa sulla Morella is minimalist modern contemporary home designed by Andrea Oliva architects from Cittaarchitettura, located in Castelnovo di Sotto (RE). This contemporary house design has a rectangular shape of approximately 11 m wide, 34 m long and 6 m tall. Start from simple rectangular shape, flat roof and the use of white and gray palette in its exterior and interior. It visually consists of two elements: the porch made of concrete and finished with white plaster, and the main body inside of it. Large windows that frame a beautiful landscape around it are protected by the depth of the porch during the summer. These windows have wooden frames with laminated glazing so they are also protected from cold winds during the winter.

This house is also completed with sustainable features. The flat roof is equipped with solar panels which meet all this eco-house design’s electricity and hot-water needs.

The ‘Marcus Beach House’ by Bark Architects. This home has an open concept design, integrate indoor and outdoor spaces within dynamic patterns of light and shadow, being a simple frame to enable a contemporary sustainable lifestyle to unfold. Whilst feeling like a ‘beach house’ sited 250 meters away from Marcus Beach.

The main pavilion to the west accommodates living spaces focused around a double height deck space overlooking the swimming pool and northern garden. Windows and doors are strategically positioned to capture the prevailing breezes whilst roof overhangs are generous protecting the house from direct summer sunlight. Artificial lighting is kept to a minimum due to the generous amount and position of glazing. This home design has a  connection between the deck and living spaces is dynamic and direct. Indoor and outdoor realms are connected through an interlocking series of alcoves and nooks like a low edge deck seat and reading nook pop-out located off the stair landing. Some other cool features of this house include a modern master bedroom, spacious courtyard, beautiful gardens and swimming pool.

Big Rock is a 140 acre property two hours drive from Sydney  and Canberra. This project was designed by Edward Szewczyk, an Australian architect born in Poland. The small, intricately detailed, steel house is an place where owners and their friends escape from the city. One of the cool house’s features is a large swimming pools. It’s located right near the lightly suspended steel pavilion and presents itself as a solid sculptural object.
It is the great place to appreciate the nature around. Located on the dam below the pool and on the edge between the water and the forest is the jetty: a steel structure essentially made of two horizontal planes, deck and roof. The jetty is suspended above the water and the gazebo is suspended towards the trees. Jetty or gazebo is such a point taking strength from its surrounds.

This modern house, designed by Greek architects Nikos Koukourakis, located inside the Dionysos, a suburb northeast of real estate in Attica, Greece. This house has a garden and beautiful swimming pool, with the main architectural concept was to design a modern house with straight lines and big openings to a flat garden. This enables the natural light to travel through every space of the house, reducing the amount of energy needed to illuminate the house. Large glass surfaces allow an open dialogue with the outside world continuously, without creating a sense of isolation within the home. Comfort in this house truly become the number one for consideration by the architect.

This house was designed and built according to green architectural choices of materials used, such as:

A house with unique design zig-zag shaped. The shape helps it to avoid the existing trees and created small courtyard spaces that are sheltered from the weather but allow the entry of light and breezes to the interior and basement level. Called Lien Residence, that was designed by Singapore studio Ministry of Design. Built Returning to the romance of the single-storey bungalow house. The building is split into three sections: an entertainment zone, a family zone and a private master zone. The house also features a diagonally-patterned planted roof.

This penthouse apartment interior designed by Australian designer, Robert Mills Architect. This apartment sits atop South Yarra’s development and features amazing views of Melburne’s busy city skyline. The interior arranged as light and airy as possible to highlight owner’s extensive furniture and art collection. The white surfaces and limestone floors can be found across the whole apartment, including all living, bedroom and bathroom areas. Most of storage spaces are built-in so they also don’t spoil the look and airiness of the interior. The apartment also features the rooftop garden, designed by Jack Merlo, that also features amazing views of the area.
